I FINALLY CHOSE THE ONE! ALTERATIONS ARE ALMOST DONE...I GO TO MY FITTING THIS WEEKEND SO I WILL UPDATE WITHIN A WEEK :)

This dress is way prettier in person. I also tried it with an ivory sash from a different designer because I didn't like this one. It is very different then what I've been trying on but I love the lace and the straps and I feel great in it! I like that it is different too. I decided that I don't want pickups I think it will date the dress so the salon was SO fabulous that they took the pickups out for me so I can see what it would be like and....IT'S THE ONE!!
I will tie the sash in the back for the ceremony and in the front for the reception - can't wait!

So, it was really hard for me to let this one go. This is totally what I picture myself in but the light raw silk (although beautiful and luxurious) didn't have much structure and I didn't feel like I looked my best. I've lost 20 lbs and it still isn't the most flattering so no matter what it's just not going to give me the fit I want even though I love the dress.

This is the closest I've been to purchasing besides when I actually bought my dress. But then in the photos it was not as flattering as it was on and it made me feel self conscious in it.

I really wanted this one to be THE one. It has the lace I want with detail on top and bottom just like I want AND it has scalloped lace on top and bottom which I've been looking for. Unfortunately it is a bit more mermaid than trumpet and isn't very flattering. It actually looks better in the pics than it did in person. It just pooches in wierd unflattering places but the concept is exactly what I want!

This dress (tried on in ivory) was actually much more flattering than the mermaid Alvina's but the shop wouldn't let us take pics. My hang up is that it doesn't have lace on the bottom. It's expensive and for me to stretch my budget I want to be jumping up and down obsessed you know? I did try it on at a sample sale in my budget but it was in the white (pictured) and the ivory is MUCH more flattering on me. The other thing is the short train is a little bummer. I feel like I want bits and pieces of different dresses. :(

Since this is from the Limited Collection there are no stock photos published. I love the shape but I wish it didn't have beading and maybe wasn't so shiny. It's so pretty but I think those parts aren't quite me.

I got my earrings and bracelet at Kohls. I thought I wanted a matching set but after looking and trying things I think it's more modern not to be match matchy. Both pieces are really cute. Originally I wanted drop earrings but I couldn't find any I liked that were substatial enough. These are great and can't be missed! There is a matching bracelet but it is too bulky.
The bracelet is adorable - I think I'm most excited about it! The stones are really sparkly in person and it is dainty with my lace dress. I'll wear it on my right wrist. The bracelet also has matching earrings but they are too small.
I'm also going to be placing my mom's brooch on my bouquet for either my something borrowed or my something old. It looks similar to these.

Bridesmaid/MOH Attire Ideas
So I changed my apple green for the bridesmaid dresses to plum/eggplant because I think that it will look more elegant with the dress I chose. Accessories
My lovely bridesmaids will be wearing this cute necklace I bought them with pearl studs.
Shoes
These are the shoes that the ladies will be wearing but they will be pewter which they don't picture on thier website. It was hard finding strappy pewter shoes under $40 in all thier sizes, that they like and may wear again!
